ahedd also offers business support through experimentation facilities for testing new technologies before investing, as well as through training, networking and acceleration services.

Who we are

The Founding Team

The National Centre for Scientific Research (NCSR) Demokritos, the largest multidisciplinary Research Centre of Greece, with over 1000 researchers & scientists launched ahedd project back in 2019. ahedd’s mission is to transfer scientific and technological excellence in the domains of AI and Big Data to the business community and public sector.

With more than 50 years of ground-breaking scientific achievements and contributions to the Greek economy and society, NCSR Demokritos has been a major partner in several national technological initiatives like the acquisition and operation of high-performance computing facilities and the establishment of high-speed computational networks in the country for the firsr time. Through the years NCSR Demokritos emerged as a leader in multiple national & European AI initiatives.

In 2024 ahedd became a private service provider, spinoff of NCSR Demokritos with Dr. Vangelis Karkaletsis, Dr. George Giannakopoulos, Dr. Denia Kanellopoulou, Dr. Theodoros Giannakopoulos, Periklis Terlixidis and Alexandros Sarivalassis as cofounders.
