On January 29, 2026, the Holy Metropolis of Grevena dedicated a meaningful day of dialogue to the educational community, exploring the relationship between Artificial Intelligence, education, and human values, on the occasion of the Feast of the Three Hierarchs.

At the Spiritual Center of the Metropolis, Dr. George Giannakopoulos, Scientific Director of ahedd Digital Innovation Hub S.A., Researcher at NCSR “Demokritos,” and co-founder of SciFY – Science For You, addressed high school students with a talk titled “Artificial Intelligence: From Omnipotence to the Broken Mirror.” His presentation challenged common myths around AI and encouraged critical thinking, emphasizing both its capabilities and its limitations.

Later in the day, the discussion continued with educators, focusing on the role of AI in shaping tomorrow’s digital citizens. The session included the presentation “Artificial Intelligence & Education” by Dora Katsamori, developed and moderated by Dr. Giannakopoulos, sparking a constructive and forward-looking exchange.

The event concluded with remarks by His Eminence Metropolitan David of Grevena, who highlighted the importance of placing human values at the core of technological progress.
